Consultant Psychiatrist: The Mental Health Service is a complex service that provides psychiatric care and treatment across a large catchment area in Victoria stretching from Swan Hill in the north of the state to Gisborne in the south. The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service provides services to patients from birth to 17 years, the Youth Team covers ages 18 to 24 years, Adult Services cover patients from 25 to 64 years and the Older Person’s Service manages those individuals over 65 years old.
Associate Nurse Manager: More than 1750 registered nurses are employed by Bendigo Health. There are a range of nursing roles across the group including specialist clinical, general nursing and management roles. Bendigo Health has an active Nurse Practitioner Program to support and develop nurse practitioners and has a range of opportunities for Enrolled Nurses. Bendigo Health offers a range of post-graduate nursing education programs in the areas of midwifery, gerontology, oncology, critical care/emergency, acute care renal, peri operative and psychiatric services.
